What is Instant Funding?

Instant Funding a quick and easy way to get your money faster than ever before.  This process removes delays associated with typical direct deposit funding, which can take a day or more to post to your account. Instead, your funds will be sent directly to your eligible Visa or Mastercard backed debit card. Upon approval the funds are typically available for use within minutes.  We offer this convenient service at no charge to our customers.

We are currently working on updating our application, but in the meantime our representatives will be providing this option to all customers during the loan process.  If you have any questions or would like to know more, please give our customer service department a call at 877-562-6195.

Can I earn more money by referring friends and family?

Yes!  We’re excited to announce a brand new way for our existing customers to earn credit at Illinois Lending!  Introducing our brand new Refer-A-Friend program!

How Does It Work?

Simply sign in to your customer portal. Once inside your portal, you’ll see a new tab called “Refer A Friend”.  Clicking on that tab will give you your own exclusive code!

Now give that code to your friends and family and have them apply at Illinois Lending. On the “your funds” page of the application, they’ll be able to enter your code in the first field.

Once they get approved and make two payments, you’ll receive a $25 credit and they’ll receive $15.

And best of all, there’s no limit to how much you can earn!

How much money can I borrow?

We provide personal installment loans up to $4,000!

How is Illinois Lending different from a payday loan company?

Interest rates between payday loans and our loans are drastically different.  Our rates are a fraction of what payday loan companies charge (up to 400%!). Payday loans are designed to keep you in debt, while our affordable alternative is intended to help you get back on track or get a head start on your immediate financial needs!

How do I get my money for my installment loan?

We offer 3 options for getting your cash!  If you apply online, you can choose direct deposit or Instant Funding for money in minutes, or if you prefer to apply in person at one of our Illinois Lending locations you can also receive a live check.

Does Illinois Lending do credit checks?

No, we do not check your credit.  All we need is proof that you are employed full time.

Can I get an installment loan if I do not live in Illinois?

You can be a resident of any U.S. state, but the loan needs to originate in the state of Illinois.  If you live in a bordering state, you can apply online and get pre-approved.  Then you can drive to one of our Illinois Lending locations to receive your funds.

How fast can I get a store-front loan from Illinois Lending?

You can get your funds as soon as the same day you apply!  You can apply online and get pre-approved or go directly to one of our Illinois Lending locations and apply in person!  Once approved, you can receive funds through Instant Funding or get a live check!

Can I apply in person at one of your stores?

Yes! If you prefer to work face to face with one of our friendly and knowledgeable representatives, stop by any one of our Illinois Lending locations and apply for a loan in person.  We are committed to help you through the application process and make your experience simple and direct.

I have a part-time job. Can I get a loan from Illinois Lending?

We typically provide loans to individuals who are employed full-time.  Proof of full-time employment, such as a pay stub, is required during the loan application process. However, we may make an exception depending on the income received.  Head to our Loans page for more details on the types of loans we offer and our requirements to apply.

If I get a loan from Illinois Lending, can I re-finance and get more money?

Yes!  If you have an open loan with us, you can apply for more money any time after 75 days since you took out your loan.

How long has Illinois Lending been in business?

Illinois Lending first opened its doors in 1996 on Wells Street in Chicago.  Our goal from day one was to offer customers access to affordable, short-term installment loans.  Learn more about us and what our satisfied customers are saying!

Do I have online access to my account?

Yes!  You can log in to our customer portal or register if you have a loan with us!  Once you have access, you can use our portal to check your balance, apply for a new loan or refinance your existing loan, and much more!  Be sure to keep checking in as we continue to update our portal with new features!

What if I forgot my username?

Your username will always be the email address we have on file for you.

What if I forgot my password?

If you forget your password you will need to reset it.  To reset your password, follow these steps:

Head to the Forgot Password page or find the “Forgot your password?” link when attempting to log in.

Answer the questions to verify it is your account and choose a new password.

You will be re-directed to the login page to log in with your new password.

How do I update my personal or employment information?

You cannot update any of your profile information directly through your portal account. To update any information, such as a new phone number, home address, or updated employment information, please call us at 312-477-8840.

How long do I have to pay back my loan?

Our terms are currently set up for approximately 12 months, with automatic payments processed according to your employment’s pay period.  You are more than welcome to pay your personal loan off early.  There is no prepayment penalty, which means we will only charge you interest for the time you took the loan out with us!

How often would I need to make payments on the loan?

Payments are debited from your personal bank account on days that coincide with your pay dates.  Check out our payment calculator to estimate your payments.

What if I miss a payment or it's late?

You must contact us immediately to set up payment arrangements at 312-477-8840.  If your automatic payment is returned unpaid from the bank for any reason, we will initiate recovery procedures immediately.
